Re: Message Contained In Genealogy - A Study on Genesis 5:1-

When one thinks of Old Testament prophecies concerning the first coming of Christ, we usually think of the books of Psalms, Isaiah, or Jeremiah. In them there are a multitude of references alluding to the long-awaited Messiah. However, there are just as many prophecies contained within the book of ...

the GOP ticket? <<<< the answer inside!

From NRO's blog, and sadly I agree 100% It's All Over [Michael Graham] Assuming there is no shocking revelation or health issue, the GOP nomination is over. Conservatives need to start practicing the phrase "Nominee presumptive John McCa....." Sorry, I can't say it. Not yet. But it's true. When the ...

Gaza remains open, thousands stream back and forth

An ugly article. GLOBAL VIEW By BRET STEPHENS The Gaza Breakout January 29, 2008; Page A16 What if Gaza were to conquer Egypt? The possibility is not as remote as it may seem just by glancing at the map. Egypt has more than 50 times the population of its former colony and 2,800 times the landmass. B...

A poem to think about

I have grown past hate and bitterness,
I see the world as one;
But though I can no longer hate,
My son is still my son.

All men at God's round table sit,
And all men must be fed;
But this loaf in my hand,
This loaf is my son's bread.

Gaza remains open, thousands stream back and forth

Why Gaza suffers By Frida Ghitis What few are willing to report There was a time — a rather short-lived moment in the history of the Middle East — when the people of Gaza thought life would get better, and the people of Israel's town of Sderot thought they, too, would stop living in hell. ''We ...

Why do you pick an example like that? Here's a better one. A Mexican in poor health sneaks over the border and presents himself to a local hospital, asking for, and receiving, a $50,000 heart transplant. Courtesy of a system he never paid in to. Not only is it not fair, but it will bankrupt the US g...

I'm not blaming them. Both parties are to blame. But at least the Republicans won't give them taxpayer funded healthcare.

\"Banned_from_FD\" wrote:how will you tell the difference?
You'll know. There'll be double-digit unemployment and high inflation. Just like when Jimmy Carter was president. The democrats like to talk about how terrible the economy is, but it hasn't been bad since Jimmy's day.

Banned, neither of them would be 'ok'. They're both going to trash the economy to pay for their leftist pet projects. They're both going to embolden the Jihadists by 'ending the war on terror' (as if you can end a war without winning or losing it). They're both going to destroy American healthcare b...

As a person, he's very different from Hillary.

His position on the issues is indistinguishable from hers.

She'll abuse the position much more, no doubt. But otherwise I don't forsee a major difference between the two.
