Whatcott prayer request update

Postby Bill Whatcott » Fri Nov 04, 2011 3:02 pm

Dear Friends,

I am at the hospital in Fort McMurray and can certainly use prayers for both my speedy recovery and that God will help me with my finances, as I will be hitting an unexpected bout of unemployment. I had a rather horrible abscess just below my coccyx which made it nearly impossible for me to sit and for a commercial driver, sitting is pretty essential. Anyways, I was hoping the condition was temporary and would correct its self, so I just kept driving, until I was in so much pain I told my employer I had to go to hospital. As it is I just had surgery and am now laid off and unfortunately I have no disability benefits. I will be discharged today and will be heading back to Edmonton. Please pray that God grants me a speedy recovery so I can get back to work.

In Christ's Service,
Bill Whatcott

Thanks for prayers doc. I doubt the bum emoticon is the best one for my situation though. When you get one of these inflamed cysts the last thing you want to do is shake it.

Probably this is the better emoticon, especially after I drove down 3 hours worth of dirt roads, bouncing on my bum, the night before I went to hospital.... :icon_eek:

Bill, so sorry for your abscess.

You should not be shy to pass the hat and ask for donations, Bill, if you're short of money. God Bless.

Thank you Doc and SaintNobody. Bill is feeling better today and we are thankful that the doctors let him stay at the hospital until tomorrow.
We'll appreciate your prayers because tomorrow he'll be heading back to Edmonton driving by himself alone. sad1

It must have been harder to sit in a hard pew than a soft car seat. :phew:
