Transvestite males allowed in Canadian female prisons

Inspite of passionate lobbying from Canadians concerned about the safety and dignity of biological women, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (pictured between two transvestite males at a "gay" pride parade) refused to exempt intimate living spaces such as bathrooms, prison units, and shelters from the pro-transvestite changes in the Federal human rights code. In Kelowna BC two biological women who were homeless were evicted from a women's shelter when they objected to being forced to share their bedroom with a biological man who was given a bed in their room after he claimed he was a homeless woman.

Male transvestites have been in Canadian female prisons and female shelters for a number of years now. Rory Leishman is his excellent book "Against Judicial Activism" wrote about a homosexual named Synthia Kavanagh, who murdered his boyfriend and then decided he was a woman. When "Synthia" was transferred to Edmonton Women's Prison he trashed the prison and terrorized the mostly female staff and inmates.

After causing $50,000 damage to Edmonton Women's Prison and assaulting a number of inmates and staff, "Synthia" was sent to Grandview Prison for Women in Ontario where he continued to beat up and terrorize female inmates and then somehow got parolled to a female halfway house, notwithstanding his murder conviction and assaultive behaviour while incarcerated.

An even more outrageous incident that occured in Toronto 3 years ago when a sexual deviant by the name of Christopher Hambrook was let into a woman's shelter after claiming he was a "transgender woman." Christopher sexually assaulted two women on the permises before being arrested and then declared a dangerous offender when he was convicted of the crimes. Of course these two crimes alone suffice to make the argument that allowing transvestite men into women's private spaces is wrong, but there are many more crimes than these two that have occured in Canada and the United States.

I wonder why the media and human rights commissions don't bother soliciting the input of biological female inmates and shelter residents, especially those victimized by men identifying as so-called "transgenders," when they try to propagandize Canadians and makes changes to our laws allowing men in dresses to access female living spaces?

Federal transgender inmates to be housed, addressed according to their gender identity

OTTAWA — Changes to the way the federal prison system treats transgender prisoners mean offenders will now be placed in a men’s or women’s facility, based on how they self-identify.

Correctional staff must also address transgender inmates by their preferred name and pronoun and offenders will be allowed to shop for both men’s or women’s items from the correctional service’s approved catalogue, regardless of their anatomy or the gender on their identification documents.

These changes come after the federal government added “gender identity and expression” to the list of prohibited grounds for discrimination in the Canadian Human Rights Act last June.

“We are overjoyed that CSC is making so many positive changes that recognize the human rights of trans people in the correctional system,” said Jennifer Metcalfe, executive director of Prisoners’ Legal Services.

“These changes will improve the safety and dignity of transgender federal offenders in Canada, affecting every aspect of their daily lives.”

A joint statement from Prisoners’ Legal Services, the Correctional Service of Canada and the Canadian Human Rights Commission said the reforms are the result of years of collaboration.

The head of the human rights commission, Marie-Claude Landry, said the reforms are about respect and human dignity, which every person is entitled to, including those in the prison system.

The changes also emphasize the privacy and confidentiality of an inmate’s gender identity, which will be shared only if relevant and only with those directly involved in a prisoner’s care.

Individualized protocols will also be offered to transgender inmates, which include accommodations when accessing shower and toilet facilities and the choice of male or female officers to conduct frisk and strip searches, urine testing and camera surveillance.

Commissioner Don Head said Corrections Canada is committed to building a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for everyone, including transgender staff, offenders, volunteers and visitors.
